Here I have compiled the 25 favorite stocking stuffer Ideas so the adults in your family get the perfect gift.

1. Deck of Cards

This is a great gift I love to add to stockings. Cards get old after a while, so it never hurts to grab a new pack for someone's stocking. If you want to get a little more unique, you can grab a deck of Uno Cards or Skip-Bo cards. There are many types of cards to purchase, so they can enjoy a different card game.

2. Dryer Balls

If you're looking for practical stocking stuffers, you could get your gift recipient a package of dryer balls. A few years back I made the switch from dryer sheets to dryer balls, and I will never go back. Dryer sheets are filled with chemicals and my children, and I have very sensitive skin. I noticed our skin was less irritated after I stopped using dryer sheets. Just remember, if you add dryer sheets to the dryer with your dryer balls, it will ruin your dryer balls. You could always add a few drops of essential oils to your dryer balls for a fresh scent.

3. Hand Sanitizer

A useful thing to add to the Christmas list as a stocking stuffer is hand sanitizer. You can get a different scent for each person you are getting them for. I get very dry winter skin and using hand sanitizer constantly can make it worse. Earth Mama carries hand sanitizers and other products that you will love. They are small enough to toss in your purse and someone's stocking.

4. Fuzzy Socks

During the winter, I basically live in warm fuzzy socks. I have a giant selection and find myself tossing socks whenever they start to get worn down. You could buy a pack of cozy socks and give one pair to each family member. A few years back, all the dance teachers did a sock exchange at my dance studio and we each got a new pair of cute socks to wear home. There are so many great options with socks and is among the useful gifts many people would love.

5. Toothbrushes

This may seem like a boring gift, but everyone can use a new toothbrush. You should be changing your toothbrush out a minimum every 3 months, so you can never have enough spare toothbrushes in the house. Your family members will be happy to have new brushes. You can even pick up some Steri-Pods to go with the toothbrushes. If you have any college students you are buying stocking stuffers for, toothbrushes are a great way to get them necessities.

6. Puzzle Book

I would love if someone included puzzle books in my own stocking. I love puzzles and favorite is Sudoku puzzles, but I also like Crossword Puzzles, Word Search, Trivia Challenges, and Mad Libs. Many people like to keep these books in the bathroom.so it's the perfect way to tease those members of your family who spend too much time in the bathroom. They can also be great for any that goes on long road trips or just enjoy sitting down doing puzzles.

7. Flashlight

Many people will argue that they have their phone flashlight if the power goes out or if they have a need for a flashlight. Your phone flashlight is not very powerful and if you have a power outage, you will not want to waste your phone battery by using the flashlight app. Strong flashlights are great to keep in the house and everyone should have one. You could also grab a mini flashlight to throw in a purse or car in case of emergencies.

8. Lip Balm

If you live in cold areas, chapped lips are inevitable. Lip Balm are small and will fit perfectly in a stocking. You can even grab lip balm with natural ingredients and that contain Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Aloe Vera, or even cocoa butter. Any brand would be a great choice to add to your holiday shopping list. Lip gloss is also a good choice if your recipient loves to wear lip gloss.

9. Tree Ornament

Why not buy your friends and family ornaments for Christmas. There are so many options to choose from that you're bound to find the perfect ornament for everyone on your stocking stuffer list. Every year, I special order a personalized family Christmas tree ornament for that year. I try to include special events that occurred that year so I can look back and remember that year. There are some great ideas for personalized tree ornaments that make good stocking stuffers. It may include doing some research, but you can find some great ornaments.

My Fun.com Picks

10. Pack of Gum / Mints

Large variety packs or plastic containers of gum can make some of the best stocking stuffers. I like to wrap my stocking stuffers, but everyone can always guess when I get them packs of gum. The bonus is gum is not more clutter to add to someone's house and is a fun treat. Another option besides a pack of gum is mints. You can find many flavor options of mints. I prefer peppermint flavor, but you can find many others that suit your needs. Just let the recipient know you are not telling them their breath stinks... or are you!

11. Gift Card

A little treat that would make anyone excited is a gift card to their favorite store. The sky is the limit when purchasing gift cards because you know they can use it to purchase their favorite things. I personally love getting Amazon gift cards or gift cards to my favorite restaurants so I can go on dates with my husband to use them. Find out where their absolute favorite place to shop or eat is. and grab gift cards to add to their stocking. Instead of wrapping the gift cards, you can even get gift card holders from most retailers, or you can purchase them.

12. Face Mask

During the current pandemic, we are wearing masks sometimes still when we are out in public. We always wear masks at the doctor's offices and there are occasions we put them on we are requested to. I am constantly rotating masks out of my purse and washing masks with every laundry load. It doesn't hurt to buy more masks and put a mask in everyone's stocking. Just another mask to add to their growing collection.

13. Reusable Water Bottles / Coffee Mugs

If you know someone who likes to carry their water, coffee, tea, or even hot chocolate around everywhere they go, a reusable water bottle or coffee mug would be awesome stuffer gift ideas. I prefer stainless steel travel mugs to use because they are easy to clean and can keep your drinks cold or hot for hours. Other options also include reusable silicone travel mugs or plastic BPA-free bottles. Look for the best type of mug for your recipient.

14. Reusable Straws

With the banning of plastic bags and reduction in plastics being used all over the world, straws will be coming up soon on the chopping block. That's why giving out reusable straws for Christmas is a great idea. There are many different styles and materials to choose from. They are not expensive and can be reused for a long time. My personal favorite are reusable silicone straws because they can be easily cleaned with a straw cleaner and will not hurt your teeth. There are also stainless steel, glass, and Tritan plastic straws. The bonus is most packages of reusable straws come with a cleaning brush to make cleaning easy.

15. Portable Charger

My cell phone dies pretty quickly, even if I'm not using it. I try to close out the apps in the background, but it doesn't always help the battery much, especially if you make a lot of phone calls. These portable chargers can fit in anyone's pocket or purse to get their phone charged back up. Not many people like to be without their phone when it dies, so these awesome portable charters can offer a little help when you need it most.

16. Reusable Shopping Bags

Back to the reusable items, the reusable shopping bags are a great investment, so you do not have to pay to use paper bags. The reusable shopping bags fold up small for easy storage and can fit nicely in any purse, car, closet, and definitely a Christmas stocking. I have acquired a very large reusable shopping bag collection and I have my favorites I love to bring with me to the store. The reusable shopping bags you can purchase at the store are nice, but my favorites are some of the large and more flexible bags you can get off Amazon.

17. Stress Balls

As a teenager and in college, I found myself using stress balls when I had anxiety. Studying for exams and dealing with a terrible roommate, who thankfully I was only stuck with for one year, just added to that stress. Stress balls are great to help calm down someone with a stressful job or who have kids who are driving them crazy. I bet someone in your life would appreciate a stress ball in their stocking. You can find some really cute stress balls in many different colors, shapes, and sizes, so there's one for everyone.

18. Candle

Depending on the smell, candles can help relax you and get rid of foul odors lingering in the house. I like to light candles for each season in my kitchen to get into the holiday spirit and keep my house smelling fresh. Candles are a popular holiday gift and can fit nicely inside most stockings. If you are not sure if they would want a candle, you could also look into diffusers, plug-ins or wax-melts. I received a wax-melt one year and I leave it plugged in so I can switch it one any time I want to use it. You can pull out the old wax and replace it with new wax scents.

19. Corkscrew and Bottle Opener

After the year 2020, I think we all could use a corkscrew and bottle opener. There are many different styles and designs to choose from that would be perfect for everyone. Give that special someone a corkscrew and bottle opener in their stocking so they can open that bottle of alcohol they probably need to bring in the new years.

20. Measuring Spoons

I was surprised when I learned of the different types of measuring spoons that existed. Most measuring spoons can attach together on a ring or be taken off the ring to be hung up in a cabinet. Magnetic measuring spoons are such a great idea to attach to the refrigerator or hang in the cabinet on a magnet. If you need to get a stocking stuffer for someone who loves to bake, measuring spoons could be a great addition to their kitchen. You could also take it a step further and get them measuring cups as well.

21. Chocolate

You can't go wrong with luxury gifts, such as chocolate. There is a chocolate flavor for almost everyone on your stocking stuffer list. You could go with a simple chocolate bar or get into fancier chocolates. Many specialty candy shops carry 68% cocoa or higher quality chocolates to get wrapped up for a stocking stuffer. If you are not interested in the typical grocery store chocolates, you could look at getting truffles, fudge, chocolate pralines, or other higher quality chocolates.

22. Scarf

If you are looking to purchase a scarf for someone for the cold weather or just as an accessory, there are many options to choose from. I love scarves and I have a very large collection in my closet. Scarves are not just accessories for women but are very useful in the bitter winter days. You can find thin fashion scarves, but you can also find thick scarves that can keep everyone warm. Just roll up a scarf, tie a cute bow around it, and use it as an awesome stocking stuffer.

23. Hat and Gloves

No matter where you live, chances are you will need to wear a hat at some point in your life. Give the gift of a cute hat this Christmas by including it in someone's stocking. They will appreciate the thought and will look good wearing one. To go with the hat, you can also grab a pair of gloves to be given as a stocking stuffer as a set. One of my favorite features of the gloves I own is that I don't have to take them off while I'm texting. The touch screen gloves have become popular and are much warmer than the fingerless gloves. I still know many people that have not invested in these awesome gloves, so I would definitely recommend putting a pair of these in everyone's stockings this Christmas.

24. Mini Liquor Bottles / Drink Mixers

Last year, my husband purchased a large box of assorted drink mixes to be added to each stocking. Our family members pulled the drink mixes out and started exchanging them based on who preferred which flavors. It was fun for them to pass the mixes around and figure out which mixes would go best with which types of liquor. You could take it a step further and match each drink mix with a small bottle of liquor ahead of time and put these in the stockings too. You can find boxes of mini liquor bottles and drink mixes at most liquor stores.

25. Reusable Ice Cubes

I am one of those people who never has ice in their freezer because I forget to fill the ice cube tray. I'll be honest though; I hate using ice cubes in my drinks. I never understood why you would want to water down your drink just so it could temporarily be a little colder. The reusable ice cubes are a great idea because you can chill your drink without watering it down. That is a win-win for me! The stainless steel ice cubes are the best to use because they are BPA-free and are known to contain non-toxic materials. You can also look into plastic and silicone reusable ice cubes as well. If you are getting a stocking stuffer for a whiskey drinker, whiskey stones are a great option.
