What are the benefits of getting toys that double as storage?
If you are looking for clutter-free spaces or reducing clutter in small spaces in your home, using the toys your child plays with is a great way to store the rest of their toys.
They can also be a way to store sentimental items your child no longer plays with regularly.
So, if you are looking for a gift to give or looking for an idea of a practical gift to tell a family member, multi-use gifts are the way to go.

Multi-Use Toys to Reduce Clutter
1. Barbie Dream House Storage Bin
So many children love to play with Barbie. She has clothes and accessories you can get for her as well. My daughter’s Barbie bin is overflowing, and they are taking over so much space. The Barbie Dream House bin can hold up to 40 dolls and accessories. You can unzip the sides of the bin revealing a Barbie Dream House. When your child is done playing, they can zip up the sides and store the Barbies inside the bin. This keeps all the pieces contained and in one place.
2. Hot Wheels Race Car Storage Bin
My son is 2 years old, and his Hot Wheels collection is growing quickly. We are starting to run out of space for his current collection of race cars. This Hot Wheels Storage Bin can hold up to 300 cars and you don’t have to place them into individual slots. This cloth bin is lightweight with a carrying strap on the side. Open this bin up by unzipping the sides to reveal a race car track to drive the cars on.
3. Stuffed Animal Storage Chair
If your kids have a lot of stuffed animals like my kids do, you may feel overwhelmed by them all. These stuffed animal storage chairs come completely empty with no beans and can be found in many different designs. Allow your children to stuff their plush toys into the chair and zip it up. This chair makes a great addition to their bedroom decor and is a chair to hang out on. A bonus is you never have to worry about the chair popping and having beans all over your house.
4. Roll Mat Puzzle Storage
Do you love jigsaw puzzles? These roll mat puzzle storage puzzle savers are great when you are in the middle of a puzzle, but you need to put it away. Simply roll out the mat into a flat surface to work on to complete your puzzle. When you need to take a break, you can roll up the puzzle to set aside. When you are ready to continue the puzzle, roll the mat back out. No more unfinished puzzles on pieces of cardboard in your living room or taking up space on the dining room table.
5. Toy Storage Organizer & Play Mat
If you really struggle with putting toys away, this Toy Storage Organizer makes clean up a breeze. Simply pour all the toys onto the play mat and roll it away into a storage bag when done. No more spending hours cleaning up toys. Everything can be found in one place. This is also one of the best things when trying to store Legos to prevent stepping on them all over the floor.
6. Embrace Play Toy Storage Box with Play mat
A great way to store dolls, cars, figurines, and more, this storage box is great for endless fun for kids of all ages. There are many different colors and styles to choose from depending on your child’s interests. There’s a Princess castle, car garage, and jungle. Allow your child some independence to pull their storage box out to play and put their toys away when done.
7. KidKraft Reversible Wooden Activity Table
It is so much easier to do activities when my children can sit at the table to do them. This reversible activity table gives your children the ability to color, build with Legos, play with craft kits, and play games on the table and store them away inside when done. The reversible top lid doubles as a regular wooden table and a Lego board to build on. Just lift the lid up and store the toys inside when you’re done. The bonus to this table is it can be used for special occasions to eat meals at.
8. Fun2Give Pop-it-Up Garage with Road Play Mat and Storage
This lightweight car garage doubles as a road play mat and storage for pretend play. Lift the lid open to find all your cars and accessories neatly stored away in the garage. Pull them out to drive them around on the road play mat on top for some imaginative play. When your child is done, neatly store the bin away with the cars and accessories inside.
9. Pacifier Bear
Grab a teddy bear online that has an opening to put a pacifier into. You could have your child put their pacifier inside and close it up. Your child will still have their pacifier close by, but it will be inside a stuffed animal instead.
I would recommend sanitizing the pacifier before putting inside the Bear to prevent mold from growing in the Bear.

This great activity bench is the perfect seat for your child to play a video game or watch tv. Then flip the back over the top to have a table to eat, color, or play a game on. They can store toys underneath in the easily accessible bins and slide them back under the bench out of the way when they have what they need. They come in all different colors and let your child pick their favorite character to go with the decor in their bedroom.
New toys do not have to be a burden. Your children can enjoy their new holiday gifts, but still have a purpose as well.
